As we finish the final remainders of that delicious Thanksgiving food (gluten free stuffing, anyone?), we slowly begin to break out the Christmas decorations and my favorite part… the music.
I absolutely adore listening to Christmas themed music. While I’m not a big fan of the modern remixed pop versions of songs I cannot get enough of the classic Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra versions.
In fact, on Thanksgiving my family spent the entire time listening to some Bing Crosby Christmas records on my grandmother’s ’78 record player. Absolutely loved it.
So, I decided, what better way to kick off the holiday season than to share my favorite classic Christmas songs with you? And alas, here we have it: Dani’s Classic Christmas Playlist made with vintage music, some of which are the original versions of these beloved songs.

” soundtrack

Note: Some of the songs link to an Amazon.com listing where you can preview the song or purchase a download or CD of the song for yourself. These links do give me commission through Amazon for each purchase, however I am not being paid to write this post and all of these opinions about these songs are 100% my own.

Love Santa Claus is Coming to Town, but my absolute favourite has always been Fairytale of New York, by the Pogues. Christmas hasn’t started properly for me until I hear it! 🙂
what a great list, Bing crosby, Judy garland, and Nat king cole some good oldies in this mix. 🙂
