Welcome to Dani Dearest, thanks for joining me! I’m a college student here to share my stories, tips, tricks, guides, and experiences with you. I started this blog in September 2014 as a way to share the things that I’m passionate about in an attempt to become creatively fulfilled.

On this blog you will find everything like organizational tips, technology guides, college lessons, tricks for managing anxiety, fun Do-it-Yourself projects, and so much more!

One of my favorite topics to write about are my experiences in college. I’m figuring everything out as I go along, just like everybody else, so I wanted to be able to share my experiences and tips to other college students along the way.

Some of my most popular college, high school, and overall education related posts are:

When I began planning for my first year of college, the first thing I bought was the exact same thing I swore I never needed in high school: an academic planner. And I fell in love. From post-it notes and color coding to relying on Google calendar and making to-do lists, I couldn’t get enough of the joy I felt when I was organizing! I decided to share this love with my readers, and they returned it tenfold!

Here are some of my most popular Organization related posts:

Do it Yourself Crafts

I love washi tape, getting my hands covered in glue or glitter, and watching an idea come to life in a creative Do-It-Yourself project!

Here are some of my top DIY posts:

Another topic that I recently began writing about is beauty. This topic is a little bit new on Dani Dearest and still developing, so there are only a few posts about it. My staple beauty skincare product that I swear by? Coconut oil!

Here are some of my favorite beauty related posts:

Every once in a while I share a piece of experience or advice from my every day life that doesn’t fall into one of those categories. My readers often love hearing about the extra things that I do and how I cope with them!

Here are my most popular personal posts:

Hi Dani! I found your blog from Rebecca’s, Life as a Dare, Ultimate College Blogger List. I just wanted to let you know how awesome your blog site looks! It’s amazing how much it’s changed from the stock theme you started with from ThemeGrill. As a new blogger, I’d love to learn more about improving the quality and aesthetics of my blog. Would you be open to making a blog post about how you made your website your own?

      Hey Martha!

Wow, you must work fast, I just added myself to that list about 30 minutes ago! 🙂
I’m actually just now starting up a Blogging 101 series giving a lot of tips about those kind of things (my most recently published post covers why and how I started blogging, check it out!) so I will DEFINITELY add how to make your blog your own to the list of post ideas! That is a great idea, thanks for sharing!

To get updates when I publish new posts feel free to subscribe to my newsletter (you can find it in my sidebar on the right) so you never miss a post that could help you!

I hope I see you around more 🙂
