College Survival Goodies For Every Personality! From the memory maker to the busy bee and even the late night crammer...

One week from today I start my Junior year of college classes. It’s crazy to think that I am halfway through my college education!

Throughout my time in college I have been blogging here to share with you my experiences, tips, tricks, and thoughts to help inspire and guide my fellow college women and millennials to succeed. So when BabbleBoxx reached out to me with a list of products that they thought every college women should get, in their CollegeShe-vival box, I definitely agreed! This fun batch of products is very unique and definitely has something for each college student’s personality and I think you’ll find something there just for you.

For the Memory Maker

20160824_140114New places, new people, new things; who wouldn’t want to save those memories?

picturesI’ve always been a huge fan of instant cameras and having pictures on my wall is such a staple that I just don’t feel at home without a wall covered in pictures of those who are nearest and dearest to me. The INSTAX Mini 70 camera is the newest mini instant camera from FUJIFILM, perfect for capturing every moment on and off campus. This camera is the perfect size to throw in your backpack, so I carry it everywhere.. even at Disneyland!

This camera is also unique because even though its an instant camera, there is still a selfie mode with a small front facing mirror so that you can make sure you look your best (and that you’re in the frame!) while it adjusts the settings to take a perfect selfie for you.

For the Amature Chef

This year is my second year in an on campus apartment with a kitchen and I’ll admit.. I’m still learning how to cook. My main problem is that I am usually in such a rush from one job or class to another that cooking is often pushed to the back burner for me (pun intended).

Something that really helps me to make sure that I get real food, fast, is my GreenPan Mini Ceramic Non-Stick Square Egg Pan. This pan is pretty tiny, smaller than my hand, but is the perfect size to whip up some simple eggs in the morning. Since I’m gluten free, my bread is really small, and this pan is the perfect size to make my favorite dish: grilled cheese.

Since the pan is a non-stick ceramic it cooks my food quickly and is super easy to clean up, which means that I have more time to pack my backpack before class and less time doing the dishes.

Pro Tip: Right now GreenPan is having a Back to School Promotion so use the code SCHOOL20 to get 20% off and free shipping! This is valid from 8/14 – 9/4.

For the Busy Bee

Every college women has been overwhelmed by work, classes, taking care of your health, and juggling club meetings. Sometimes you get caught up in moments where you don’t feel so fresh, maybe you just finished working out and you have to run to class right away, but that shouldn’t cause you to feel uncomfortable.

That’s what these Simply Sensitive Summer’s Eve® Cleansing Cloths are for. They are specially formulated to not irritate skin, they are hypoallergenic and alcohol-free, and they are the perfect size to keep in a small pocket in your backpack, purse, or gym bag when you’re on the go.

For the New Move

Moving to a new place can do weird things to your body and skin, including causing your lips to chap. Hear me out; the first week of school my Freshmen year every one of my roommate’s, who was new to the area, lips chapped. They complained for days about how no matter what they did their lips were uncomfortable and dry. I don’t know if there’s an scientific explanation for this, maybe it was windy, maybe it was the heat, maybe it was the pollen.. either way I know that having a good lip balm with you is a must.

The all new Flip Balms from Palmer’s are clinically proven to moisturize for over 8 hours. They are free of parabens, phthalates, patrolatum, and gluten, contain ethically and sustainably sourced ingredients, and come in 3 great fruity flavors: juicy watermelon, creamy coconut, and ripe mango.

These flip balms are unique because they flip open with just one hand for easy application and you can instantly feel the moisturizing qualities.

For the Late Night Crammer

20160824_140535Some people prefer to pull all nighters, some like to camp out in the library first thing in the morning, and some like to play it by ear.. no matter your study style you need to start off with a comfortable and reliable writing tool.

Zebra Pen has a great line of gel pens, ballpoint pens, and highlighters which are perfect for study time or group projects. Honestly, I’m a bit of a writing utensil snob (I love me some smooth markers) and these pens are really nice. The highlighter is incredibly bright and smooth, and when paired with the Rapid Dry Ink Gel pen it eliminates any worry of having my notes smeared across the page once I highlight them.

What is one product that you have that you feel really represents who you are?

Thank you so much to for sponsoring me on this post on behalf of Single Edition Media! All opinions in this post are 100% my own and I really do love these products.

For me it’s definitely post it notes. Having them around and easy to tranfer to my planner/the appropriate notebook when I have a thought or an idea is a godsend. That, and I am a little obsessed with post its of various shapes, sizes, the ones with little characters, you name it I’ve used it.

I’ve been wanting a polaroid camera for so long. I just can’t seem to pull the trigger and buy one! But they look so cute. And I totally agree. I love having my walls covered in photos. Great post!!
